Philosophy:  Pediatric orthotics is a field that deeply resonates with me, as it combines compassion with purpose. It goes beyond offering physical support—it provides children with the opportunity to engage in the joys of running, playing, and participating in the experiences that define childhood. Through the design and implementation of personalized, supportive devices, I aim to bridge the gap between limitation and possibility. My goal is to help children regain the confidence to keep pace with their siblings and peers, empowering them to embrace life with freedom and confidence.

Bio:   I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to Texas at a young age. I went on to earn my M.S. in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. I am ABC certified in both orthotics and prosthetics and have specialized in pediatric care since 2017.

Working with pediatric patients has been a profoundly rewarding experience. I quickly developed a deep connection with this population, inspired by the meaningful impact we can make on both the children and their families. Helping children regain independence and confidence so they can fully engage in life brings me immense fulfillment.

I also have a strong clinical interest in scoliosis and cranial orthotics, where I strive to provide personalized, high-quality care tailored to each child’s unique needs. For me, pediatric orthotics and prosthetics is more than a profession—it is a calling that drives my commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of the children and families I serve.
