As part of this commitment, this Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices of Boston O&P when you visit or contact us through this website, www.bostonoandp.com. This Privacy Policy also discloses the privacy practices for the OPSB Sensor App, when used with the OPSB Sensor available through a patient’s healthcare provider for use with certain braces. This website and the OPSB Sensor App are both owned and managed by Boston O&P.

OPSB Sensor App Information Collection and Use
The OPSB Sensor App, when used with the OPSB Sensor available through a patient’s healthcare provider for use with certain braces, is intended to collect and transmit body temperature and time data to aid patients and healthcare providers in their monitoring of a patient's compliance with recommended brace wear times and pattern.
Boston O&P does not collect Personal Data automatically on the OPSB Sensor App. We only have access to collect Personal Data from the OSBP App that you voluntarily give us by using the OPSB Sensor, downloading the OPSB Sensor App and agreeing to Boston O&P’s Wear Sensor and App Consent Form and Wear Sensor and Application End User Licenses Agreement and Release.
Personal Data collected by the OPSB Sensor App from the OPSB Sensor includes user credentials and contact information and patient name, date of birth, brace type, body temperature and wear
times. With a patient’s consent, this Personal Data may be automatically transferred from the OPSB Sensor App to a third-party cloud platform to allow authorized healthcare providers, via a secure log in, to remotely monitor wear times and patterns.
Boston O&P will use your Personal Data collected from the OPSB Sensor App solely for the purpose provided, including to aid the patient, their guardian and the patient’s healthcare provider monitor compliance with brace wear. Where permitted by patient consent or law, we may share or utilize limited or de-identified data with clinical partners of Boston O&P in research and in reporting outcome data to objectively review the impact of brace monitoring.

Personal Data Sharing
Boston O&P will not sell your Personal Data to anyone. We may disclose to any member or related affiliate of our organization the Personal Data collected from this website or the OPSB Sensor App that the member or affiliate reasonably needs to fulfill the purpose for which it was provided. We will not share your Personal Data with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request or provided herein or as required by law.
In order to carry out operations, we retain certain third-party service providers to provide services to us, including information technology services. To the extent that these service providers have access to your Personal Data, they are obligated by us, including during and following conclusion of a written agreement, to protect your Personal Data to a level of security similar to that which we provide.

Boston O&P has established appropriate physical, technical, organizational and administrative safeguards to protect the Personal Data we collect from or about users of our site or OPSB Sensor App, including facility access control and workstation security. When you submit Personal Data via the website, your Personal Data is protected both online and offline.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive Personal Data transmitted online, we also protect your Personal offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) and who are authenticated are granted access to Personal Data. The computers/servers in which we store Personal Data are kept in a secure environment.
